Since its inception, Doshisha University has upheld internationalism as its core educational philosophy, under which it has been addressing a diverse range of social issues around the world.By building on and leveraging this track record, the Faculty of Global Communications educates students to meet the needs of today’s global society.The Faculty offers three courses, namely the English Course and the Chinese Course for Japanese students, and the Japanese Course for international students.Through these courses, students will acquire the wide range of knowledge required to act globally in the future; develop the ability to resolve problems likely to arise in multicultural settings; and serve as facilitators, negotiators or administrators in business, cultural exchanges and education in an ever-changing international society.
